Who we are
FileToUrl.org is operated by Vertuvel LLP, based in England.
What we collect
When you use FileToUrl.org we collect:
- Files you upload, stored temporarily (free) or permanently (Pro) in our secure cloud storage
- The public URL generated for your file
- Your IP address, used only to enforce the free upload limit (3 per day)
- Your email address, if you upgrade to Pro or sign in to your account
- Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
We do not use cookies for tracking. We do not run advertising. We do not sell your data to anyone.
How we use it
- To host your files and serve your public URLs
- To enforce fair use limits on free accounts
- To manage your Pro subscription via Stripe
- To send you account emails (magic-link sign-in, subscription confirmation) — nothing else
How long we keep it
Free files are deleted automatically 30 days after upload. Pro files are kept for as long as your subscription is active. If your Pro subscription expires, your files are converted to free status and deleted 30 days later. You can delete your files at any time from your account page.
Third parties
We use the following services:
- Supabase — file storage and database (EU/US infrastructure)
- Stripe — payment processing
- Lovable / Netlify — website hosting
Each operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Email us at fraser.richardson@vertuvel.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.
