WHEN TO USE THIS
- Send a folder of files as one download instead of ten separate email attachments. Assets, exports, a full project handoff, bundle it once and share a single link.
- Deliver a client project without setting up a shared drive folder. Design files, source assets, deliverables, a link is faster than managing folder permissions for a one-off handoff.
- Distribute a downloadable resource pack from a landing page or newsletter. Templates, samples, a starter kit, a ZIP link works as a lightweight download button without hosting infrastructure.
- Back up or hand off a batch of files to someone outside your team. No need to add them to your cloud storage or grant folder access, they just get the bundle.
WHEN NOT TO USE THIS
If people need to browse or preview what's inside before downloading, a ZIP is a poor fit, they have to download the whole thing first. For individual files people need to preview, use Image to link or PDF to URL instead.
